The type of relief in Fene is determined by the contrast lithological existing, where it is possible to appreciate soft hills towards the west (in the direction of Ares and Mugardos), a few hills a little higher towards the interior in Marraxón, with a maximum altitude of 359 metres (Couto do Rei) and on the border with Neda, there appears a great gully of the river Belelle where a waterfall of 45 m was formed, which is one of the nicest landscapes of the town council.
Regarding the climate, the prevailing temperatures are mild and the rainfalls are relatively abundant.
